Mission Statement
The
Davis Youth Flute Choir trains young flute players to achieve the
excellence of high musical standards through learning refined ensemble
techniques and by exposure to varied and challenging repertoire from
classical to jazz. Through the performances these students give, they
learn to be mentally disciplined and to channel “performance
nerves” into positive energy. They also learn to appreciate their
audience members and to connect with them through their music.
